Dear Valued Subcontractors, Vendors, Architects and Designers,
We wanted to reach out to update you on the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak and related issues on all our businesses. Even though there’s never been a time exactly like ours in recent history, we’re moving forward, anchored to our vision and mission and committed to put service before self.
We assure you we are taking this very seriously and we will get through this together, stronger. We have a collaborative Hendel team, committed to excellence, integrity and service.
We know our job-sites are the offices to many and the sanitation and cleanliness and your health is our highest priority.
Below are ways Hendel is committed to keeping our office and job sites safe as well as other important information:
o We will make it a priority to keep job sites clean and sanitized. We will have hand sanitizer/wipes for each job site entrance or as best as possible, especially with the low inventory. Please wash your hands or sanitize continuously throughout the day.
o Our business is running “full-time”, however our office hours are limited. Many of our staff are working from home, however the Hendel Homes main office phone rings directly to our home offices, so please continue to call 952-404-7204 or the cell of who you are contacting.
o Please inform us if you are experiencing production delays or low staffing which would impact our published schedules for each job.
o Please do not share job site tools, and sanitize after usage.
o Please continue to practice social distancing.
o We ask employees or vendors who have symptoms of respiratory illness to stay home until they are free of fever, signs of a fever, or any other symptoms for at least 24 hours –without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
o We are committed to meeting the needs of all we serve without interruption, but there will be modification to in-person meetings to help reduce the spread of germs. Most meetings will be video conference or conference calls until we know more from the CDC and/or State of MN.
Thank you for your patience, support and understanding during this time. Again, we look forward to being stronger together.
When you have a winning strategy, you stick with it. That’s how Hendel Homes feels about using synthetic slate roofing from DaVinci Roofscapes.
The custom builder recently included DaVinci’s own Bellaforté Slate on a new home in Orono, Minnesota. The new black composite slate roof perfectly complements the stucco siding on the home.
“We keep coming back to DaVinci products because they’re a proven success for us,” says Amy Hendel with Hendel Homes. “DaVinci composite roofing products provide a great quality and value to our homes. In this particular case, we wanted the look of slate without the weight or expense of real slate. Bellaforté was the solution.”
Inside and out, this stunning home on Lake Minnetonka features a contemporary interpretation of classic design. Every room has incredible views through expansive windows. A full pool house with a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace overlook a lavish outdoor pool. Add in a theatre, sport court, exercise gym, bar and sauna and you have a home you’d never wish to leave.
“Both the interior and exterior of this home are very special,” says Hendel. “Outside copper gutters and accents truly enhance the roof and siding.
“Driving up to this home you get the immediate feeling of warmth and satisfaction. The quality appearance of the DaVinci synthetic slate roof has a great deal to do with creating that impression.”
With this dream home project now complete, the team at Hendel Homes has moved onto their next project.
“Each time we begin a new design, we look for reliable products,” says Hendel. “The quality and long-term lifespan of the DaVinci roofing makes it a product we come back to again and again. Don’t be surprised if you see more of our homes with synthetic slate roofs in the future!”
Hendel Homes has many other beautiful home projects, including this project that must be seen to be believed.
